Maryland real estate market trends from COVID-19 are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for December 28, 2020.
Bright MLS current covers seven states, so there are statistics for a number of areas. There is a general overview for the entire MLS, and later there is specific state data.
Starting on page 21 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 12/28/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:
In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 12/21-28 dropped again from last week, but less than past weeks, and remained above new listings from the same point last year.
New pending listings from 12/21-28 also dropped this week, along the same lines as last year, but also remained above the same point last year, which it has since May 18.
Closings rose last week – closings were at a rate of 183.5% compared to the same week in 2019.
I appreciate this data from Bright MLS and look forward to seeing the next report so I can share with you once received.
