Maryland real estate market trends from COVID-19 are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for November 23, 2020.

Bright MLS current covers seven states, so there are statistics for a number of areas. There is a general overview for the entire MLS, and later there is specific state data.

Starting on page 21 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 11/23/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:

In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 11/16-23 dropped dramatically from last week, but remained above new listings from the same point last year, and dropped along the same scale as last year.

New pending listings from 11/16-23 also dropped this week, but remained above the same point last year, which it has since May 18.

Closings dropped dramatically last week, after a big spike the week before. The number of closings continued to remain above the number of closings as this point last year.

I appreciate this data from Bright MLS and look forward to seeing the next report so I can share with you once received.
