Coronavirus Maryland real estate market trends are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for May 7, 2020.
A reminder from past weeks’ posts, Bright MLS covers a large swath of states, so they have statistics for a number of areas, but then they drill down to specific state data.
Starting on page 26 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 05/07/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:
In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 5/3-7 was on the rise, but on a similar rising scale as last year.
New pending listings from 5/3-7 are lower than last year at the same time.
Closings appear to be slightly lower but along the same trajectory as last year’s graph. I look forward to seeing Friday’s numbers next week, as that day spiked tremendously last year.
The daily showing activity was actually up over last year at the same time.
I appreciate this data from Bright MLS and look forward to seeing the next report so I can share with you once received.
