Coronavirus Maryland real estate market trends are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for May 18, 2020.

A reminder from past weeks’ posts, Bright MLS covers a large swath of states, so they have statistics for a number of areas, but then they drill down to specific state data.

Starting on page 30 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 05/18/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:

In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 5/11-18 was on the rise, closing in on the same number of listings at the same point last year.

New pending listings from 5/1-18 are also on the rise, almost at the same number at last year at the same time.

Closings appear to be slightly lower but along the same trajectory as last year’s graph.

The daily showing activity was actually up a tremendous amount over last year at the same time.

I appreciate this data from Bright MLS and look forward to seeing the next report so I can share with you once received.
