Coronavirus Maryland real estate market trends are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for June 1, 2020.
A reminder from past weeks’ posts, Bright MLS covers a large swath of states, so they have statistics for a number of areas, but then they drill down to specific state data.
Starting on page 27 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 06/01/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:
In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 5/25-6/1 was on the rise, lower than the number of listings as last year, but on the same trajectory as last year.
New pending listings from 5/25-6/1 are also on the rise, actually surpassing new pending contracts on 5/25, and continuing through June 1.
Closings are lower but along the same trajectory as last year’s graph.
The daily showing activity was up a significant amount over last year at the same time.
I appreciate this data from Bright MLS and look forward to seeing the next report so I can share with you once received.
