Coronavirus Maryland real estate market trends are being put together by our MLS, Bright MLS. Here is the update for June 15, 2020.
A reminder from past weeks’ posts, Bright MLS covers a large swath of states, so they have statistics for a number of areas, but then they drill down to specific state data.
Starting on page 25 of the Bright MLS multi-state report 06/15/2020, the Maryland real estate data shows the following:
In Maryland, the daily number of “New Active Listings” added to the market from 6/8-15 was on the rise, lower than the number of listings as last year, but on the same trajectory as last year.
New pending listings from 6/8-15 are also on the rise, continuing the higher rate than last year for a third report.
Closings have just about caught up to last year.
The daily showing activity is still well above last year at the same point, though I have been wondering if this could be partially due to the competing showing service, Centralized Showing Service not sharing this data from last year, but ShowingTime has since bought their service and merged them into one.
I appreciate this data from Bright MLS and look forward to seeing the next report so I can share with you once received.
